“Not another networking group”
I hear you cry.
You hate networking. It’s not for you. You don’t really see the point. You never get anything out of it.
Stop. Stop. Stop.
I hear you, there is nothing worse than networking that feels like a chore or that makes you feel a little bit sick in your mouth because of the pressure.
The pressure to ‘perform’, to nail your 60 second elevator pitch, to know what everyone else does…
I get it. And I agree, there is nothing worse.
And that’s why we are doing things differently!
Networking Done Differently
The Brave Business Network isn’t ‘just another network’. It isn’t formal, boring or stuffy.
And it is designed to have maximum impact in the minimum of time in a safe women-centred space.
In just 1 hour a week you will join an unrivalled community, build connections and find people to collaborate with.
The Brave Business Network
Introducing Your Host
My name is Caroline Thompson, a.k.a. The Brave Business Coach and I am here to help you cut through the crap and get more clarity, confidence and clients by being braver in your business.
I’m also a mum of three, a wife, a business owner and an all-round amazing human being who was put on this Earth to help others see their brilliance and be brave enough to be themselves.
I am very much a people-person and I’ve been networking for over 18 years. I built a successful hypnobirthing business in another town through networking and I have built my current business by building relationships online.
My top values are community and connection and I just love bringing people together so that they can build their businesses, support each other and make sales too.
I am a great connector and as soon as I get to know who you are and what you do, I will be thinking about who you can connect with too.
I can’t wait to get to know you better, and as a trained coach I promise to hold your hand no matter how nervous you are.
Caroline’s networking group is phenomenal.
In the good ole days when we could meet in person, the networking face to face meetings were fantastic.
Brilliant business women coming together to share their wins, their struggles, the things they’ve learnt on their business journey, tips and tricks and always encouraging each other.
I always left with a pep in my step.
Caroline is awesome!!
She’s always there with words of encouragement, wisdom and never scarred to give you the push of accountability that quite frankly I needed.
She believed in, my business and my passion when sometimes I didn’t.
Thank you for everything you do, the energy you bring and the self belief you build xx
Boundaries, Bullshit, and Bravery – 3 things that come up time and time again for entrepreneurs. Join Caroline as she shares her insights and practical action steps when it comes to setting boundaries, seeing through bullshit and setting yourself up to be brave.
How many of us put everyone else in our families and life first? We feel exhausted and wonder why we’re not moving forwards in leaps and bounds with our businesses! In a practical demonstration, Suzanne is going to help you find deep relaxation for a few minutes so that you have more energy and focus for all the things going on in your life and business.
I totally loved networking with Caroline Thompson’s group of ladies both virtually and in her gorgeous choice of venues too.
It’s always been a nerve wracking thing for me to do but I instantly felt at ease with the informal format.
The fellow business women have all been so friendly and welcoming, and not only have become my customers but great friends too.
If you’re looking for a supportive community with the added extra of great business advice, tips and coaching you will love Caroline’s groups.
Questions You Might Have
Who is The Brave Business Network for?
The Brave Business Network is for women, those who identify as women and non-binary people who feel safe and comfortable in women-centred spaces.
How does it work?
Once you have registered you will receive an email each Tuesday with the link to join the live Zoom call and you will receive an invite to join The Brave Business Network Facebook group so you can network all week long.
When are the meetings?
The Brave Business Network meets every Tuesday morning 9:30am-10:30am on Zoom. You will be emailed a reminder on a Monday evening and then you will receive the link to join at 8:30am each Tuesday.
I can't make a Tuesday morning. Can I still join?
Of course you can. The Facebook group alone will be worth joining for…and if your plans ever change you are always welcome to join the meetings too.
What is the format of the meetings?
Every meeting will feature a guest speaker who will help you do business the brave way (and we have some amazing speakers lined up!) and you will get the opportunity to connect in small breakout rooms. Unless you want and choose to, you will never have to speak to the ‘whole room’.
I haven’t got a business yet. Can I come?
Absolutely. You are more than welcome to join at any point in your business journey, in fact the sooner the better so that we can support you as you grow.
Do I have to join the Facebook group?
Nope! We are having a few tech issues which means this is the easiest way to let you in – if you would rather not join the group then please register through Eventbrite instead.
Do I have to have my camera on / speak on the calls?
Whilst there is no requirement to have your camera on and / or join in the conversations I would remind you that people do business with people. It is much harder to build your community and get that connection with a faceless voiceless Zoom screen. Be brave and go all in!
What if I’m not dressed?
Hey, this is all about you being comfortable and brave enough to be you. If you want to show up in your pyjamas from your bed or straight from the shower you are welcome to. The only rule is no nudity – other than that you can show up as you like.
I’m really nervous. I’m not sure it’s for me.
Honestly, as a trained coach with over 20 years community and connection experience, Caroline will soon put you at ease and make you feel more comfortable than taking your bra off at the end of a long day.
